Cookies, local storage and IndexedDB help the site remember information. We request optional consent globally, rather than assuming permission based on location. Rejecting optional storage does not prevent buying or receiving a gift.
Essential storage
- Account session: Better Auth session cookies (including secure-prefixed variants), up to seven days and renewed during active use. These identify your authenticated session; they are HttpOnly.
- pp-guest: an HttpOnly random guest identifier, 30 days. It permits managing online gifts and purchases on this browser. Local drafts do not require this cookie.
- pp-gift-…: an HttpOnly proof of a correct gift secret, one hour. It expires or becomes invalid after a relevant gift update.
- partnerpresents:consent: local storage containing your choices, policy version, receipt identifier and time, six months.
- lovelylink:sites:v1 and partnerpresents-media: local storage and IndexedDB for drafts and recordings you create. Draft changes save automatically in this browser, not in the cloud. These persist until you remove them or clear browser data, subject to available storage; the legacy key name preserves earlier drafts. Signing out removes locally cached account gifts.
Google Analytics · optional
We load GA4 only after analytics consent and only on public shopping pages. Cookies such as _ga and _ga_* distinguish visits; their maximum configured duration is six months. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization remain denied. We send clean public page URLs, without queries, personal gift content or account identifiers. No Google analytics script or cookieless measurement ping is loaded before permission.
Microsoft Clarity · optional
With separate heatmap consent, Clarity measures clicking and scrolling and records interactions on public shopping pages. Its first-party _clck cookie can last one year and _clsk approximately one day; provider-side cookies may also apply depending on browser and service behaviour. Our consent expires after six months and must be renewed before recording continues. Clarity is excluded from personal gifts, editing, previews, accounts and checkout. We pass consent through Clarity's Consent API and keep advertising consent denied.
Embedded music · optional
YouTube and Spotify embeds load only after permission and a play/open action. Providers can receive your IP address and device information and apply their own cookies and retention rules. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed domain. You can decline embeds and follow the direct link instead; that opens the provider's own site.
Payment and hosting services
Stripe-hosted checkout may use cookies and similar technologies required for payment authentication and fraud prevention. They are governed by Stripe's notice on its domain. Cloudflare may process security information and set challenge cookies when necessary to protect the service. We do not load Stripe's checkout JavaScript on browsing pages.
Changing your mind
Open “Cookie & privacy choices” in the footer to change or withdraw consent with the same ease as accepting it. We stop optional measurement, remove accessible first-party measurement cookies and reload when needed to unload a tracker. Third-party cookies are controlled through your browser or the provider. Global Privacy Control overrides analytics and heatmap permission. A consent receipt records your selected categories and timestamp without your gift content or account email.
